Religious Temporary worker
HOUSE OF DIVINE SOLUTION INTERNATIONAL MINISTRY (London & Slough)
Religious Workers ( Fulltime 35 hrs weekly) £10800 P/A
Primary Location: South London  
Other Locations: Flexible to Work in any of the Parishes in UK

About the Church: HODSIM was established in 1996 and is duly registered under the Charity Commission.
The Church currently has parishes in London, Slough and opeing more,.ss a result of expansion of missions, more  Religious Workers are needed. 
General Requirements:
1. A previous Christian’s induction or Ordination as a religious worker will be an advantage. If not, successful applicant must be willing to undertake one once in post.
2. A qualification from School of disciple or similar gained from a Christian denomination assembly/Church will be an added advantage.
3. An experience in similar roles is desirable but won’t be the sole criteria for selection as suitable people will have to prove themselves at Interview.
4. (1) and (2) above notwithstanding, will be tested at Interview.
5. An experience of conducting Sunday School teaching for Adults or Children preferably within Hodsim church members or any other related Church will be a plus
6. Ability to communicate in English (spoken and written) is essential for the benefit of the congregation. This will be assessed.
7. Successful Religious Workers are required to have at least one or two more additional skills such as
a. Songs Ministration
b. Musical Instruments playing
c. Drama/Acting/Theatre/Group play and choreography
d. counsellor
8. As religious workers would work with various groups of Children and Youths in various capacities, successful candidates would be deemed as posing no threat to safety and welfare of Children.
Other Requirements
· Likewise, you may be transferred within and outside of your current posting/location. Your views will however be taken into consideration while doing this in line with guidelines.
· Joining in planning and executing of Church Evangelisms and Crusades
· Suggesting contents of Postcards, hand bills and publicities to the Media team and sharing with Minister before final print to ensure content are checked to be sensitive to other faiths, diversity and moral codes.
· Organising retreats through liaising with the Choir for musical concerts to aid evangelism.
· Participating in Sunday schools, youth retreats and inter churches festivals.
· As may be delegated, Preaching, Teaching the faith in line with Bible and HODSIM founder’s doctrine, counselling and welfare visitation to members of the Church.
· Attending all relevant meetings particularly Workers meetings and Ministers’ co-opted meetings, leading some and attending to any relevant departmental matters and or meetings and feedback concerned Minister-in-Charge.
· Peaceful community development, integration and relationship with other faiths, local people, etc

About the Church : House of Divine Solution( HODSIM) was established in 1996 and is duly registered under the Charity Commission.
The Church currently has parishes in  London ,Slough and expecting to open more by the end of the year as a result of expansion of missions, more Ministers and Religious Workers are needed.
General Requirements:
Will possess qualities required to manage a branch of the Church if posted out of the Headquarters or to go and lead the opening of a new branch in another location so an experience, familliarisation with, and an understanding of House of Divine Solution International Ministry Worldwide doctrinal teachings would be an advantage.
A previous Christian’s induction or Ordination as a Deacon, Deaconess, Pastor or Minister will be an advantage. If a Deacon or Deaconess is appointed, the successful applicant must be willing to undertake trainings to become full Minister.
A qualification from School of disciple or similar gained from a Christian denomination assembly/Church will be an added advantage.
An experience in similar roles is desirable but won’t be the sole criteria for selection as suitable people particularly the Deacons and Deaconesses will have to prove themselves at Interview.
